Luke Amstutz is set to begin his 11th year as the Head Coach of the Knights. In his 10 years at East Noble, he has a 85-28 record and NE8 Championships in 2015, 2017, 2018, and 2019 and Sectional Championships in 2019 and 2020, Regional and Semi-State Championships in 2019. The 2019 East Noble State Finalists were the third team in program history to play in the finals. Before that,  he spent 4 years as the Head Coach at Angola High School. In his four years, he led the Hornets to a 26-15 record, and an NECC Championship in 2009. His career record as a Head Coach is 111-43 in his 14 seasons.


Coach Amstutz served the East Noble Football program from 2004-2008 in various roles, beginning as a Middle School Coach, JV Coach, and eventually as Defensive Coordinator. He also coached varsity basketball and JV baseball for the Knights, while teaching at Avilla Middle School. Currently Coach Amstutz is the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for East Noble.


He is a 2000 graduate of Carroll High School and a 2004 graduate of Tri-State University in Angola where he is a member of the 1000 Point Club as a basketball player. He and his wife Shay, daughters Averi Lynn and Alexxa Riley, and son Maddox Charles reside in LaOtto.


Coach Amstutz is an avid Notre Dame fan. Aside from this, he enjoys hunting and fishing, playing guitar, water skiing, and running.
