About this speaker
Matt Elsker is in his ninth season coaching college football in 2024, and this will be his third year as part of the Wildcat coaching staff.
He spent 2018 and 2023 in support staff roles at UNH. In 2018, assisting the offense, and in 2023 assisting the defense and special teams.
Prior to UNH, Matt spent six seasons at Plymouth State University where he served in a variety of roles including Video Coordinator, In-season Recruiting Coordinator, Running Backs Coach and Offensive Coordinator. During his time as OC the Panthers were one of the most well-disciplined offenses in all of Division III, having three consecutive seasons of top ten national rankings in fewest penalties, fewest penalty yards, fewest turnovers, and fewest interceptions thrown. Over the 2022 season they were also ranked as the top red zone offense in the country and top ten in fewest sacks allowed. This success led to a 9-2 season and victory in the New England Bowl.
Education:
Completed a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Plymouth State University in three years with the highest GPA in the department.
