Assistant Head Coach and DL Coach at DeLand HS in DeLand, FL. Originally from the eastern panhandle of West Virginia where he was the DC at Musselman HS. Helped Musselman to five straight top 5 finishes, two state semifinal appearances, and produced a top 10 defense in the state three out of four years as DC. Since coming to DeLand, Coach Smith has helped turn around the program to win a district championship and playoff appearance in 2022 and a region championship and state semifinal appearance in 2023. Coach Smith is married to his wife Emily, and has two sons, Treylan and Brody.
