Being Multiple in the 3-4 to Defend Multiple Offenses
A Talk by Jared Sloan (Asst Head Coach /Def Coordinator, Fulshear High School)
About this Talk
We are a multiple 3-4 defense that is able to get in and out of multiple looks vs multiple formations. We can get in to a 3-4, 50, Weak Eagle, 4-3 and 4-2-5 looks all by flipping where we are setting our front based on field, boundary, a tight end or multiple receivers. We combine all this with basing out of quarters coverage where we focus on pattern reading and trap coverage concepts.
